This Aspen Grove is Like Creation

As the Aspen grove is one organism expressing itself  

as many glorious waving arms of shimmering golds, 

So too is creation one self expressing itself as many gorgeous beings. 

On my walk in the mountains today, 

I stopped for a moment to soak in creation’s deeply layered beauties. 

My heart bursting with gratitude,  

I opened my arms wide to creation and extended all my love to every bit of it; 

Human, plant or animal.  

To all that lived I offered my love. 

As I resumed my walk, 

My eyes landed on a tree nearby offering up a treasure trove of golden nuggets of resin 

that I burn upon the altars to innocence in my home.  

Their aroma reminds me of my home in spirit, 

as it fills my home here, with its holy smoke.
